Swiss road passes

Swiss road passes is a photographic project that I initiated during 2018. The approach consists of taking vertical shots of certain portions of Swiss road passes in order to highlight the graphic character of these routes. From the sky, the gaze flattens the relief and the road ribbon plays with space. Its twists and turns form signatures of tar on the sometimes rocky, sometimes green ground.

The Swiss Road Passes project is still in progress. And it has already won over the public. Five images have been selected to decorate the walls of the Swiss consular residence in Chicago, USA.  In this residence located in an ultra-modern district of buildings, a vertical universe of straight lines, glass and steel, the images bring a bit of Swiss nature, flattened and curved. The prints of one meter twenty on a side are really impressive.
